mini trunking (roll out and clip together type)

I've laid out a few yards of this stuff and fixed the main part to the wall. The problem I've got is the lid won't stay clipped in place. Due to the set of the coil shape, it just pops straight off again.
Does anyone have a good way of straightening these ?

only used it once, not had a problem wih it, lid went on (had to bash it a bit) but it stayed there.

I've had the same problems, especially the 16mm from s/fix, I think the only answer is to recoil it the opposite way & leave it for a few days or warm it up in hot water.
