Hi there

We've just moved into an old house.

At present in the downstairs "cloakroom" there is some boxing in with access panels that house the CU, gas meter and electricity meter. The CU is less than 150mm from the gas meter, more like 100mm. We need to update the CU anyway as it's rather old and doesn't have a RCD and we would like to add a few more circuits.

1) Is it OK to relocate the CU within the same cupboard/boxing in as the gas meter provided that they are more than 150mm apart? Or do they need to be in separate enclosures.

2) The gas and electricity meters are about 500mm apart and in the same enclosure. Is this OK?

Thanks.
