We are refurbing a Victorian house and have a bedroom with a chimney breast in it which limits the entry space into the room.... see attached image.
Is there a minimum gap permissible for this ?
The existing stud wall was crooked so looking at possibly replacing it - but concerned about the resultant gap size between the corner of the bathroom and the chimney breast.
Thanks
