I have just been given some reclaimed pine wall panelling, some is stripped, some is not. (some varnished some painted) I would like to paint it, and would like advice on the best finish, preferably not high gloss, and can I get away with just roughing up the surface and painting over as long as I fill any dings.
As it is reclaimed it has issues regarding butting up cleanly, would it be ok to fill minor gaps with decorators caulk and painti over the top, would this also be ok for addressing the dings. Thanks in advance.
