[the plumber]

any of you guys had dealings with this model .mira 722,
if you know the model then do you know if its possible to get a metal ring instead of the plastic one that fits on the shower body, it fits on the temp control.
i fitted anew cartridge 4 months ago but the tnts keep stripping the plastic ring. so i have to strip off the control and turn the plastic ring and re assemble ,
crap design shower i have spoke to mira (robots at the other end of a phone) one person said they do the other said i have fitted a high pressure cartridge instead of a low pressure but the order book only list one!!
any help
i have suggested taking it out and replcing it but they have just spent over £200
