Went to this today
Unit turns on, water flows . Rate of flow alters as temperature dial is turned but no hot water is produced.
Not sure about age of unit. No warning lights or fault symbols appear
When you remove the cover it looks a complicated piece of kit

Could be the inlet sensor or at worst the element has gone, though whatever it is, it sounds terminal I'm afraid, unless you can get someone to test individual components.

Tried a couple of basic tests whilst there but didn't have any info to compare it with
240v coming in tried to test for 12-15v on two black incomers to Pcb after reading posts on here using search facility
Didn't get a reading but very fiddly and wouldn't guarantee that result of nil volts on those two black wires . But If the result is accurate is that a Pcb problem that may not heat water

I'll do that youth. Makes sense
What's causing it? Scaled up, or maybe on hot setting and incoming water higher than normal in the recent hot weather

maybe caused by kinked hose , blocked head, if stats got 240v to it but not out needs a new stat , not resettable, cheers

If your happy to test individual components. Shut power down and then test the continuity of the key components, inlet sensor, element and thermal cutout. Just do a resistance test on them.

Not been back to this for a while
Phoned the Showerdoc and as youth said they identified the the thermal switch as the problem
Not sold as a separate item, you have to buy the can £85
Customer ordered one. It arrived today , I call in and fit it, didn't make any difference.still producing water w/o heat
Any offers welcome

Ouch, may have been better replacing the whole thing...
anyways....time to check the inlet sensor as I mentioned earlier, if it passes then could be the board has gone.

Is there any filters out of sight ?

Gigz there arnt any out of sight filters
The flow from the shower head is fantastic but its cold water coming out
I'm reasonably sure I haven't crossed any wires when I changed the can
