Hi all, mixer tap is leaking from where it swivels (see pic), is this likely to just be a washer?

I can turn the water off and remove the tap, just unsure what I need exactly and wanted to plan ahead.

Thanks

Just stick a new tap in. Unless you have time & the skills to hunt around for the right bits and bobs and fit parts.

This tap need centering and tightening, so may as well buy a decent hard wearing monoblock that's looks good with the kitchen

1. Make sure any tap you buy is suitable for the hot and cold water supplies.
2. If you have a combi boiler or an unvented hot water cylinder, you should be OK with pretty much any mixer.
3. If the hot water is from a vented cylinder you will almost certainly need a mixer where hot and cold mix at the end of the spout. Otherwise the cold pressure will likely overcome the hot pressure.
