Mixer tap no water flowing

Hello, a slight problem I have is this: we bought a new mixer tap for our bathroom about 6 months ago from B & Q. Today there is no water coming out of either tap. The water is turned on to them both. Is there anything else obvious that I have missed? All other taps in our house are fine.
