how do i repair such a tap, as it is a mixer and i can turn off the supply with the ball valve under the sink , as the troublesome tap is in the kitchen the type of taps that have two bars one on either side which you move up or down to open valve, fancy but not working properly. can take them off and see nut but what next , need some help

done that and washer looks good no wear, put back together and water flowing ok again!!! don`t know what the problem was but glad it`s sorted, thanks for the help
