Cant put tile everywhere where you lot have wiped it off you fingers!
:)

My vote for the dirtiest trade in the indstry goes to electicians..wherever they go they leave a pile of wires and chopped off bits of screws behind...for us to kneel on...while we are sorting out the gaps and nails heads the chippies have left in the skirting board and scrapping off the slurry the plasters have left dripping over it..sitting next to the toilet pan that the plumber aint hooked up but everyone has has a slash in anyway..the brickies and scafolders being the normal suspects..

An we aint got a right to moan!!!?????

:p

Yep...and we are always the last ones on the job...never see many carpenters and plasters working on a sunday do you..

They are all down the boozer spending their 150 quid a day..

is that all :D

£ 150 quid a day ? Wouldn`t get me out of bed for that ! Enough said.
Right then, Plumbers....here`s the train of thought. He`s got to put a lenght of 1/2" pipe through a stud wall. Erm`, it looks like it`s been plastered or jointed ready for decoration but hey-ho, I`m going to boot a hole big enough to drive a train through coz` I really can`t get my brain past 1st gear and a small pipe will certainly fit into a big hole. Well if it dosen`t, I could make the big hole bigger. yes, this really is my vocation in life,.....to be an idiot beyond all comprehension.

Now Chippies.....Train of thought. Right I`ve got door linings, window boards and staircases to fit, but I`ll have to use packers or wedges. I`ll cut them extra long and leave them proud so to make it harder for the plasterers or jointers, and the second fix chippies can cut them off flush once they are all caked in gypsum of one kind or another. Because, like the plumber I too am an idiot. Life has been kind to me.

And so to Electricians. ......This is what they may be thinking when wiring a house. Right I`ve got all these rolls of cable to use, so I`ll have to leave most of it hanging out of the walls so people can choose to either trip over it or hang themselves. And with modern houses having so many sockets and switches with so much cable passing through each and every one, I really can`t be a***ed to chase anything in whatsoever in any shape or form.I really, really am not in the mood for chasing in...I`m so tired....I was up til 9 o`clock last night watching porn. Never mind, the dry liner will just have to get over it as best as he can. I do hope he dosen`t cut all my cables off in an effort to get his boards up. After all... he`s only getting paid per square metre. Am I an idiot or just bone frigging idle ?

That`ll do for one day . Other trades will have to be patient !
Goodbye, yours truly
Easy going, all round nice affable guy,me !!!!!

been doing some work for a friend over the last few days as he is having the house re worked inside. Just finished rendering up a section of the external wall. Went away to do a quote an came back just to give it a final tidy up..........thats strange there appears to be a 100mm diameter hole through the centre of my render with some very big lumps that have come away all around the edges.......Oh sorry about the render said the plumber, but i had my core drill here so i thought id drill the hole today rather than when i come back next week. Thatll be next week when its dry and it would have made a nice circular hole through it...................
