I've just had a plasterer in for 4 days skimming my walls and he did nothing but complain the whole time !!!
I had 3 rooms, 2 where an extention that has plasterboard which i had stripped the wallpaper off of and a big room that i stripped the paint off back to plaster.
The plasterboard walls where in a state, the wallpaper took the top layer of plasteroard off.
He just kept saying that as soon as the plaster went on, it dried out straight away, even with 5 coats of pva.
The result was my walls where ok to paint after he had finished but only with matt emulsion as they where not flat enough for silk. Silk will show up the uneven surface hes left me !
Was he doing something wrong ?
