Hello,

I'm trying to work my head around wiring new smart thermostat in, I'm tired of the house being stuck at 27 degrees, and so is the heating bill.

Port 1 and 2 on the new thermostat "Dry" and "Contact", which I assume correlate to with the black and grey wires from the boiler?

Whereas 3 and 4 are quite obvious Neutral and Live.

To save me some trouble, how do I correctly wire this in?

Many thanks

It actually says 'Dry Contact' - not two words.
It indicates that it is simply a switch.

So yes you put the grey and black wires into the two 'Dry Contact' holes.
It does not matter which wire goes in which of these two holes.
When activated the switch closes and joins these two wires activating heating.

I would also remove the short length of Brown jumper wire as that is dangerous to have loose and unterminated.

Note that I a slightly concerned that that is a cheap Chinese switch. Not always the best, and often a pain to put on the wall.

Brilliant, thank you.
I'll give it a crack when I get home.

Yeah I'm not sure why that was left hanging. I told the 'Mrs' to not go anywhere near it once she had sent the pictures.
