monobloc kitchen taps

Hi

we are trying to fit new monobloc kitchen taps. No problems with the water pipes but there is one long threaded rod with small nut to fix tap to sink but we can\\\'t get to it with a spanner. Is there a special tool that we need to do this?

Yes and no. You CAN buy a set of 2 or 3 box spanners for the purpose, or you can use a standard mechanics type socket set using an extension. You will have to get it tight.
