Moon Under Lockdown

I've just been out in the garden for half an hour. So quiet and peaceful.

The peace and quiet is the best thing about the "lockdown".

The full moon is perfect, very bright and clear. With just binoculars you can see much detail.

Get out and have a look NOW before it sets! It is wonderful and beautiful. Get off the computer, sit in your back yard and gawp at the moon in this perfect silence, it might never happen again.

Looks tremendous

you will see a bright redish star just left and below it - that is Antares, a star of the souther skies, we just get to see it around the height of summer. Now there's a depressing thought, just about 6 weeks until the days start shortening
