If that is the case and money is no problem, why doesn't this government spend unlimited money on the health service, welfare and tax cuts for the rich ect.
All the above would be extremely populari and guarantee relection, your economic theory makes Khazi Kwartang look like a genius.
Lol, really??

I'll humour you this time.

Firstly, they've just tried to cut taxes for the rich as you put it and had too much political pushback. Or maybe the 45p rate cut was the 'sacrificial lamb' to get the rest through; maybe we'll never know.

Secondly, if you have to ask why properly resourcing and funding the best possible NHS, social care, education, infrastructure etc. isn't a political priority for the current lot (and the previous lot) then you really haven't been paying attention for a very long time.

I would have thought that staying in power would have been the no 1 priority for this government, after all if they aren't in power they can't impose their ideology on the public.
You claim that money isn't an issue and that there is unlimited amounts available, if so, why don't they spend it in order to keep those at the bottom happy, while giving those at the top what they want.
How do expect others to understand what you post when you don't seem to understand it yourself.

Oh dear. OK, figure this out.

Austerity has been the dominant narrative in the country for over a decade. Which party has been in power?

It seems they can say whatever they like and people, like you, seem to lap it up.

Check this out.

The party before that, the party known for its reputation for spending, especially in public services also seemed to never have enough money.

2 opposite sides of the view on finances and both constrained by financial limits.

What have you figured out that our Governments are not aware of ? Or is it more a case of a little knowledge is a dangerous thing ?

When you can actually state your case clearly without telling everybody they are wrong, you might get some interest in your posts. Until then.......

I don't disagree with that.
Its just all this O level economic theory and analysis stuff you keep posting.
Is it really necessary.

Fair enough. Not everyone wants to understand how their economy actually works or the possibilities that come from that understanding.
