Mortice door latches

Hi guys just after a little advice I need to buy some of the above but am unsure what size I need!!!

I currently have some that measure 3" from end to end and 2 1/2" from the faceplate to the end. I want a direct replacement for them but am unsure how they are measured (from faceplate or total length?)

I am also fitting bathroom locks and again am unsure on the size 64 or 76mm ? is this the lenght ?
