    Hello all

I have a Movano Van 2014 plate. since new the side door thinks its open so it bleeps. had it repaired a few times under warranty and again since.
No point me taking it back so i thought Id replace contact parts myself.

where would I buy and what do I ask for?

    Thank you Bod

This is often a fault within the lock itself unfortunately, as door closed switches are rarely used these days.
How was the fault repaired last time?
    John :)

I think they replaced the contacts on the door and static upright.

I think a design fault so if it mens replacing these bits every now and then so be it

Just need to know what I'm asking for

A guess from me could well waste your money but I would recommend contacting Autovaux and explaining the symptoms. For sure they will have heard of this problem before and could supply what you need.

Appreciate you want a quick fix, but I'd be pestering the dealer - a fault that reappears constantly? Must be a design fault and they have a responsibility to sort it!

My nearest dealer is 20 miles away. Its a day off work every time.

I think now the doors dropped a tad

Yeah, but IIRC the offer ran out as you were looking into it.
    Think it was black circles?

I got a tip off someone in the trade that black circles is now owned by Michelin, so basically, if you want Michelin tyres they will have the best prices, especially when they run a special offer.....

Just checked out the Cross climate. £124 each. On offer I think they were about £84.

    Should have bit the bullet

Well, you know I am notoriously indecisive and I have lost many a great deal by dithering! But, it will surely come round again if you have a bit of leeway in your tread.
