2 runs of UFH pipe need to be moved or even ideally removed (as they are in what will now be the shower).

The system is up & running.

What is the best way to do this - take the zone up, cut it at the manifold & then relay?

Is it possible to 'empty' just that one zone or does the entire system need draining?

There's no flooring down at the moment so all pipes are visible/accessible

Thanks

Usually you can just isolate the zone at both ends with the manifold, ie close the flow regulator and put the decorators cap on the zone valve point after removing the actuator.
Then you can disconnect and drain the pipe alone, make your changes and relay, then repressurise /bleed again ready for your screed or whatever

Thanks John, just wanted reassurance more than anything that it is possible! It's a retrofit panel so no screed thanks again
