Hi all

I have recently installed a new closet toilet/sink set and i am by no means a plumber but thtought i would give it a go. Ive had no problem with the sink but i think i have got myself into a sticky situation with the toilet.

In order to make some more room i took the wall which the toilet will go against back 25cm into the shoe cupboard. My new wall is back up and it looks great with more room, but obviously my waste pipe may need moving (although id rather not).

The old toilet waste outlet went to the left, but the new it leaves to the back. and it is now 25cm further back than the original. So i need to make a large u shape to come back on myself then out to the waste pipe outside. i tried to draw a diagram on here but it didnt work.

The measurements from the toilet to the back wall is 16cm. and the waste pipe to the back wall is 41cm. there is approx 35cm betwen the outside wall and the toilet, although this could be moved slightly in increase if needed.

Does that make sense and is is possible. I reckon i might have to drill a big hole to the outside and then try to connect it out there rather than inside! I wish i had never started the damn thing now haha! What are the general rules with regards to pan connectors?

Thanks alot for the advice - in the end i extended it from the waste pipe end with a 90 and a straight, another 90 which then connected the a 90 pan connector.

i was looking at it from a pan connector point of view but it was easier to extend with the larger waste pipe.

The draw back is that this is a little unsightly and yeah if i had planned better and had more time i would have took the waste out of the house at a different point. However, as the waste pipe is boxed in with my gas meter the unslightlyness has been kept to a minimum, and most importantly - The Mrs is happy with it :-)

Thanks for help guys!

Thats a few bends close together from the sounds of it, hope you've got rodding access on there somewhere
