I have a range cooker which is 1100mm wide, 900mm high and 600mm deep.

It was bought new and professionally delivered by some very helpful guys who brought it up the stairs to the first floor even though they did not know that they were going to get a good tip!

Mine is very heavy but ignoring that aspect, the size indicates that it should fit into the back of my 406 estate car if entered and slid in on its back.

The book does not give the weight !

I want to buy a second hand similar range cooker. Has anyone successfully moved one of these in an estate car or failed to do so?

Tony
