I want to move a Danfoss roomstat (looks like it could be model RMT 8-30) to an adjacent wall (about 1 metre to the left) but I cannot see how to remove the casing. I have looked for screws, and clips without success

Thanks so much for that - the diagram should be a great help. I am doing the work at my daughter's house and I won't be back there until later in the week - but will report progress in due course.
Incidentally do you know what sort of cable (and/or what it's called) that I'll need to get in order to extend the wiring to reach the new location? Thanks again.

Some have a screw holding the cover on underneath the dial which just pulls off.
