Hi,

I want to move an aerial socket, which will require extending the cabling. When I took the aerial socket off, however, there were two cables behind it, both connected to the single socket. How do I extend this to a new scenario? Is it best to extend both cables and connect both to the new position?

Depends on what the cables lead to or are connected to at the other end, surely?

Sockets can't normally be "daisy-chained" except where they are "tap" sockets incorporating an attenuator. If this is the case (it should be marked with a value in "dB") then extending is not such a simple matter, since you'll affect the signal level fed to subsequent sockets in the chain.

You need to determine exactly what you are dealing with.
