Hi,

We are looking at redoing our bathroom as the design is a bit pants. One of the this we thought of was to move the toilet. The waste pipe is internal, boxed in, that runs down the entire house and used by 2 other toilets. 3rd floor.

The toilet is next to the boxing in, we want to move it around 2 metres away along the wall. Boxing in would be OK but the drop needed so the waste flows properly (and complies to regs). If the drop is 40cm,at a guess, how would a plumber achieve this with the joists...

Do you think this is possible, and thought his much would a plumber charge.

I am assuming you mean 40mm not 40cm.

Are you having the floor tiled? 20mm board plus 10mm tiles plus adhesive will get the fall close to what it should be.
