Hi everyone, a complete DIY and plumbing novice here. Just moved into a first-floor flat. Our washing machine is in the kitchen. We'd like to move it to a cupboard at the other end of the flat -i.e. make a wee laundry. Kitchen & current washing machine plumbing is about 20 feet away from this cupboard, but the bathroom's just across the hall (about 4 feet). Could we re-plumb the washing machine in here by linking it to any existing plumbing in the bathroom or would we have to run new pipes from the kitchen? Also, is this the kind of job we could reasonably do ourselves? You can probably tell we don't know much about this...but willing to give it a go...

cheers, Jo

You can tee into existing pipes but you need to ensure drainage will be ok :D
