Can this be done? Is it 100% moisture resistant?

Have a cubby hole in kitchen which is under the stairs. Currently housing a condenser dryer and a shelf but never had a door on. I was thinking at some stage to make up new cabinet doors for the kitchen and thought to do a trial run on a door or two to hide the dryer.

Once primed and finished would it be ok to use this as the prefered material as the dryer obviously does give out alot of moisture. I will also incorporate an air vent into each door. Plan on using 12mm MR MDF with 6mm border design glued on top. Couple coats of primer, undercoat and top layer as required.

Bit thin for a door, at least 18mm is needed, should be no moist air that's whats what the condenser removes.
