MR16 GU5.3 socket product recommendation

Hello

Over the years I've been buying MR16 GU5.3 sockets online, mainly from Amazon and eBay but they re very much hit and miss and often don't last very long. Anyone can recommend good quality product, I'm happy to pay a bit more if I don't have to replace them every year or so.

Even cheap ones should not fail that often, what lamps you running, its usually heat that causes the problem more so in fire rated enclosed units, maybe time to upgrade to led possibly

I’m not using led however some sockets have been holding for years while other makes fail after few months. Probably the heat as you say, shall I reduce the amps perhaps
