If you have 10mm earth bonding on water main to meter. And the gas pipe for cooker is next to water main. Can the gas bond be linked from water.

Or do you need two separate runs of earth cable from.water and gas back to meter ?

No, the gas should be bonded within 600mm of the gas meter before any branch, or where the gas pipe enters the property.

If both the gas and water pipes enter the premises at the same place you could link them and only have one bonding conductor.

If the run is sensible it’s perfectly acceptable to run a single cable from the CU to one and then the other.

It doesn’t even have to be a single continuous cable either

But they both must be bonded at their points of entry; not just anywhere they happen to meet.

It does not make any difference electrically but it is to ensure that the point of entry (the hazardous part) remains bonded no matter what happens to the pipe along its internal run - plastic bits being inserted etc.

I didn’t say anything about the locations and my comment still stands. Entry point of one, to the entry point of the other, to the CU

Cable doesn’t have to be continuous
