MWC or EIC?

Bit of an open ended question

I'd want to know reason for decreasing CPD
 
When you find a 32A radial for a single oven with a washing machine tapped off in 2.5mm²...
 
Personally i'd issue a MWC and a covering letter regarding why the change was made. I'd also note that a full PIR might be advised due to the DIY nature of the electrical installation.

But then i love paperwork!!!!
 
I was taught that replacing a protective device in a non like for like manner is outside of the scope of a MWC.
