My garden led lights

I thought you may like to see how i made my led lights

The reasons i made them is
1) because I can
2) challenge
3) I could not find what i wanted off the shelf

40 cm length of mini trunking markedat 8cm intervals

trunking drilled for leds and sprayed to taste (liqiorice?)

leds fitted

hot melt glue to secure led

One "leg of led wired (with 1k resistor)

Other leg wired in (repeat for all leds)

Finished

They are supplied from a transformer (in a shed) with a diode in series

pretty nifty, you should make a few kits up and sell em on ebay.

How much was the total outlay, including transformer.

The leds are £1.49 from maplin, everything else i had "laying around"
