Well yes, no.smount of talent in the machinery will make up for the failing of the nut holding the steering wheel :D I've met a few of the "all the gear, no idea" club :whistle:
I think that (obviously not on properly challenging terrain) a skilled off-roader would make more progress driving my normal car than I his 4WD...
 
A bit of a followup ...
Took a couple of redundant switch-fuses off that were in the way. Found that almost all the neutral connections in the block were loose, as were nearly all the connections on the isolators.
Good job we generally don't have any large loads :whistle:
Can't see much point to a complaint since it's about 9 years since the meter was fitted - but I'll certainly insist they send someone to check the connections in the meter and service head. Be able to check the fuse size at the same time - c.f. my other thread.
