
Phew! What a weird turnout though.The one solitary chick that survived this long left the box today. It was great watching it all play out.

They must be a hardy breed up there. Both times I’ve had tits start nesting down here, it’s been the middle of May. I’ve just been out and cleaned it out and moved it a little bit - 6” to the right and a foot lower. Might make a difference as it was a bit high.Now and again, I get a visitor in mine. Last year I kept notes, and it wasn't until the 6th of April that the nest building started. It took 2 weeks to build the nest.
