Well today Im a happy bunster, Ive got a whole new plumbed system in and both the washing machine and dishwasher are connected, I followed Breezers comments and have both machines on separate wastes, 1 going into the other. No leaks from either the water pipes which are connected via a plastic Y from the main tap and no probs with the waste pipes.
Just washing everything Ive got in my cupboard just to give the machine a good run though.
