I have a Myson Apollo 80B boiler.
I measured the input and output temperatures with a type K thermocouple mounted on the copper pipes as close to the boiler as possible.
The inlet temperature measures 52 deg C and the outlet temperature measures 57 deg C . Therefore a 5 deg temperature difference.
I believe that on a new boiler this difference should be 11 deg C.
Bearing in mind that i believe the boiler to be approx 10 years old is this acceptable or inefficient?

Are you measuring at the boiler or a remote radiator?

So long as it is no more than 11ºC its ok.
It may mean that there is room to close your by-pass slightly to get more efficacy from your pump
