Any opinions on the CirculatingPump CP53. Florad have provided two for our underfloor heating system. Looking online these pumps seem to be the cheapest available. Anyone have any problems with these, or are they ok?

they dont last that long ime(3-6yrs average) and are noisier than other pumps. You get what you pay for.

compact really seems the way to go:

Are there any downsides to the fully assembled compact systems?

Their bearings seem better that Wilo and probably nearly as good as Grundfos.

But they do seem rather prone to electrical faults. If they last one year then they will usually do at least seven years.

Then they are cheap to replace.

I'm sending hte whole system back. With two pumps it's just way too big and doesn't git in the cupboard. Instead getting that 3 port compact manifold from alternative life, that is fitted with a grandfos. The thing is just 360mm in length, so should fit nicely.
