2 years ago we had a new bathroom suite fitted. I had to take the side panel off and after just using the bath, I noticed a small wet puddle that looks to be directly under the white plastic pipe in the photo (it isn't, it just looks that way from the angle) I have felt around all pipes and joints and no trace of water, or even damp seepage. All joints are tight. The only thing is when i turn the plug dial/overflow in the bath, it pivots the connecter under the bath, which I assume should move within its circular housing. The corrugated pipe I fixed with a cable tie as I thought this may have been the issue ( a few weeks ago when I found the same patch) as it move slightly when the dial was turned. Clearly this hasn't solved it. Some of the sealant he did around the plug from the bath side has come out, but again filling with water hasn't caused ay seepage from this area.
I am hoping from the photos I have posted that someone would be able to help as the guy who fitted is no longer available. It doesn't seem logical that water should be here for absolutely no reason. Also, what is hat extra black cable connection that looks electrical ?
Thanks.
