Does anyone know what this is?
It's an exposed thermostatic mixer with an overhead drench and a handset.
There does not appear to be any name, brand or logo on it, apart from markings for temperature and diverter.

Do you need to mend it?

    Or replace it?

I had something comparable, and only needed to change the mixer, because the pipe fittings were standard. A new drencher assembly is surprisingly expensive.

In my case the new mixer was an Aqualisa which had alternative connections top and bottom. Thermostatic showers can't usually be turned upside down because they expect the hot pipe on the left.

Neither! I used it today and quite fancy exploring the possibility of getting one for me.

While I'm here, is Mira's Magna flo technology any good? "a drenching shower at 0.1 bar"??
