Many years ago when I first started work one of my colleagues was named Rose Smith another was named Peter Rose,and yes they did marry.

That's wonderful.

My brother had a gypsy girl called Rosebud in his class. Christian name I think

Out of genuine interest - how do you manage to get a full stop and a space while typing good and not notice - or be bothered?

You cannot alter the spelling of something and then compare the two.

I may have made up Cher but that was just to get the ball rolling.

One of my pals in the local was genuinely called Michael Hunt. But he was a big jock and hard as nails, so we just used to call him Scotty. Never let on that we were amused by his name.
