On the radio this morning ( think it was at London zoo ?) they went to see a male Komodo Dragon. (so what ?)

well this dragon was conceived with out any input of a male dragon , all done by the female naturally , the female has never had any contact with a male

apparently this happens every so often in the world of komono dragons , all off spring are always male

Its also been discovered ( fairly recently ?) that there saliva is venomous , a sort of slow acting poison , they bite there prey & then follow it for days

Also scientists are looking at there blood & the blood of crocodiles in the hope of finding some new anti biotics ?

both animals seem to able to counter infection despite at time's getting massive fight injuries ???
