Hi I have a utility room in house but want to make it into a kitchen. It only has 13amp sockets, no gas and woundering if any one has any ideas running a cooker. If I was to get a oven which run on a 13amp socket and instead of a hob get a george foreman type rig is this the best way round it or does any one know of a better idea?

Round what? Actually doing the job properly?

If you are converting a room into a kitchen, it will require either a gas supply for a gas cooker, or a new circuit for an electric one.
There is no way a 'george foreman type rig' could possibly be used as a hob.

It's all notifable work as well.
