Need help making a folding wall desk

I want to make a folding wall desk.
I wanted some ideas.

I was planning to buy cheap desktop from IKEA for less than £9 and 2 legs costing £2.50 each.

But then... I wanted the legs to come off really quickly. Not sure how I could do.
Definitely needs to strong legs on the corners.

Hinges: what hinge should I use?
Is it possible to make it 'soft close'? Want to avoid the table slamming down.

Other than that... I was planning on having the monitor on the wall.

Just looking for ideas.

The legs could be attached under the front corners with hinges, so that when you fold the desk up to the wall, the legs lie flat against it.
