Need help please with my thermostat

Hi. I have been having trouble with my thermostat (Horstmann DRT 2) lately. It does not seem to override the built-in timer programme for the combi heater and does not seem to send a signal across to the combi heater. I am unsure as to whether I should just buy another thermostat and see if that helps or whether it is something to do with the combi boiler and am wondering whether it is unable to receive the signal from the thermostat.

No, I've changed the batteries and they're brand new. I've also reset it a few times to see if it works after that but didn't help

Horstmans are crap. Don't waste your time and money on it, stick a proper one in.
