We need to move it to get the new shower tray in - do we have to turn off the boiler? The water is already off. There is a silver thing on the top of one of the towel rail sides too if that helps?

We are happy to cap off the pipes under the floorboards too if that is the easiest/best option? We just want it off, but we want to be able to turn the water back on tonight to get running water in the kitchen.

Thanks!!

It might be wise to turn off the boiler in case the towel rail acts as a bypass or overrun for the boiler.

I put in a picture, but it's not worked!

We've turned the boiler off, we were told to drain the system, so we'll do that too, but our boiler has two drain valves (picture below) can we use either side to drain it?
