I've got no idea about how universal thermostats for oil boilers are but I assume I need the specific part thats in it just now and I haven't been able to find it on the internet.

It's off a Thermecon Oil boiler, thermostat has 2 prongs, with all these numbers that mean nothing to me > TUA 4C 012, 48/88C, 9412

Any idea where I can get such a thing, or even what I should look for when searching? Does the part I need have to be a particular brand, and does it need to match all the numbers I've just reeled off?

Many thanks!!

Try Partscenter (Wolseley) - quote the boiler model Thermecon
(I think it is a Cotherm Thermostat fitted to your boiler ;)
