Whats the correct term for these now and where can I get them from? I need to support a random stone wall above a failing wooden lintel. The plan would be to insert needles under the roof support beam, old oak not necessarily straight with acros internally and externally. Remove the stones down to lintel level, replace lintel with either stone, granite, or stone faced concrete and then rebuild wall back up to roof level.
As you can see there are some other interesting cracks that have appeared within the last three months where this wall butts up against the main house structure.
