Hello everyone, I have a neilsen cp1757 petrol pressure washer and it just won't start, I've followed the check list on the washer prior to starting it and it's having none of it!

I can't even find a manual online and I'm tearing my hair out!! I've uploaded a pic of the pressure washer itself

Any suggestions would be a real help!

Take the spark plug out, lay it on a metal part of the engine and turn it over.....looking for a blue spark across the electrodes. Its a good idea to try a new plug anyway. If all is well here, we'll look for a fuel issue, but if there's no spark, check the on / off switch at the side and bear in mind this engine may have a low oil alert sensor which also cuts the spark out.
Are you happy taking the carburettor to bits if need be?
John :)

These Chinese copies of the Honda GX series are notorious for letting water in through the tank filler cap - which doesn't help a great deal  - and the tank rusts too.....gives problems for evermore.
The fuel tap is built into the carburettor so when disconnecting it the fuel pipe has to be tied off.
