Has anyone here installed a Nes toilet? I picked up this one from B&Q:

A few issues I’ve run into:
Has anyone else dealt with one of these? Is it just a bad design, or am I missing something obvious?

A few issues I’ve run into:
- The instructions for fixing it to the floor are printed on the plastic bag (seriously…), and show angle brackets sitting against a flat surface inside the pan. In reality, there’s a protruding rim that makes this impossible (pic attached).
- No instructions at all for connecting the cistern to the pan. I assumed I could fit the cistern after setting the pan in place, so I mounted the “plastic screws” in the pan first. When I then sat the cistern on top and tightened the nuts, it leaked. Turns out you need to mount the screws to the cistern first to get a seal. Again, nothing in the paperwork about this.
- Meanwhile, the only detailed instructions were for fitting the flush valve… which was already factory-installed. Completely useless.
- The cistern has no holes to fix it to the wall. Is this standard now? It also has a big cut-out at the back for no obvious reason.
- Finally, the toilet seat is terrible. It’s the quick-release type but feels flimsy, cheap, and wobbly—the whole back lifts when you sit down.
