Toilet Seat Problem

Got a QX Urban toilet and cistern fitted a few months ago and the seat has started sliding about. Problem is that the pan sides are totally verticle so that the usual tightening nuts are just not there. It would appear that in order to tighten the seat uip, the whole toilet pan would have to be dismantled. Am I right or is there an easy way to sort out this problem?

Post a picture of the seat hinges with the seat up, normally the hinges can be tighten up.

Some of these toilet seats are fixed from the the top. Check by lifting/moving the hinge covers and tightening from there just in case.

Usually you can lift off the decorative cover and find a screw head to tighten, hopefully the spring toggle nut will grip without having to slide wc forward.

This ok? It is the one on the right that appears to be slackening.

Slide off the toilet seat/remove pins. Lift up the chrome covers and re-tighten the screws that go into the pan. Refit chrome covers and seat.
