I'm not sure what you mean about a quick way, the wires will just need removing, but I thought you were still planning on using the Horstmann for the bedroom Zone for the time being.

No, I didn't want to introduce the 2nd heatlink into the thread discussion to complicate things yesterday, because I knew once the first was wired correctly, the second would go in without issue. So I went ahead and wired heatlink 2 up for the bedrooms zone this morning as well. The Horstmann is now defunct.
Yes, Ill trace its wiring back to the main junction box and just disconnect them for safety. So all good. Very happy with the outcome as its nice and neat, and the stats look the job on the two walls. Thanks again for taking an interest and advising.
