The hypocrisy is off the scale with it all, as usual. Bristol City Council introduced a low emissions zone in Bristol some years ago. Guess who has an ancient fleet of diesel vehicles? Brother had a couple of large items taken away by council in July. BCC pickup with cage on back turns up - 2006 Merc diesel.

That is an issue of course, and one that can be fixed by changing the material used to make the blades. Which looks like is being looked at.
When you have larger volumes, its does create incentives to make thing more recyclable.
We also need far more nuclear power of course.

No - all meat should be luxury food, should attract VAT + climate surcharges & NHS levies. Everyone would be better off if they consumed less meat (and I say that as an enthusiastic meat eater with haggis been my all time favourite)

The best use for then is to make sculptures from them as they are a quite interesting shape. Oy maybe stick one end in the groud and mount some solar panels on the top to look like giant mushrooms and then could potentially still graze animals underneath so no farm land is actually used up. Or grow a crop that can thrive in partial shade - espicually as the planet warms up - improvise - adapt and live with the changing climate - not tax people back to the stone age while the rich get richer and the poor get poorer on the back of it
