ok ,ive read the posts but cant find what im looking for,.question..........when i switch on timer,to fire up boiler i get nothing,sparkys been round,says everythings ok on his end. any ideas? im not going to f****k with the boiler because heating man is coming later. cheers

are you getting power to the boiler from the sw/live ?

you can check that your overheat stat has not tripped by opening the little folddown door underneath your boiler on the plastic casing. in there you will find a little red 'button'. Push this in, if it clicks it is lickely that your boiler has overheated.
If this does not work you will be needing a new pcb.
Dont try taking the white cover off the top part of your boiler. It is nt worth the risk and wont help with your boiler repair in any way.
